# WINDTRE vs Life DC

The clearest difference is rating: WINDTRE at 4.4 against Life DC's 1.0. WINDTRE also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). Life DC's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WINDTRE holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WINDTRE has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WINDTRE ships an update every 5 weeks, Life DC every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
