# Cursive Practice vs Solar System 3D

The clearest difference is ads: Solar System 3D at none against Cursive Practice's shown. Solar System 3D also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (68% vs 57%). Cursive Practice's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (114 vs 31). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cursive Practice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Solar System 3D sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cursive Practice holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 114 and 31 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Cursive Practice's written reviews are positive against 68% of Solar System 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cursive Practice ships an update every 5 weeks, Solar System 3D every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
