# SunPass vs Tri

The clearest difference is chart position: SunPass at #130 against Tri's unranked. SunPass also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 293). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 1.6 for SunPass against 1.7 for Tri. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SunPass has 2.4K ratings behind it against 293, so its average is the more settled of the two.
