# GPS Tour vs My GPS Coordinates °

The clearest difference is rating: My GPS Coordinates ° at 4.6 against GPS Tour's 3.6. My GPS Coordinates ° also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 27) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). GPS Tour's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 40%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Tour sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and My GPS Coordinates ° sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My GPS Coordinates ° holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My GPS Coordinates ° has 2.1K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of GPS Tour's written reviews are positive against 40% of My GPS Coordinates °'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPS Tour ships an update every 2 months, My GPS Coordinates ° fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
