# GPS Tour vs Eos Tools Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GPS Tour at 81% against Eos Tools Pro's 38%. GPS Tour also leads on ratings volume (27 vs 9) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). Eos Tools Pro's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.6) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Tour sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Eos Tools Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Eos Tools Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 27 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of GPS Tour's written reviews are positive against 38% of Eos Tools Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
