# EQ Network vs FaceMore

EQ Network and FaceMore both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of EQ Network's written reviews are positive against 11% of FaceMore's. EQ Network also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). FaceMore's advantage is ratings volume (107 vs 2) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EQ Network sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FaceMore sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EQ Network holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceMore has 107 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of EQ Network's written reviews are positive against 11% of FaceMore's.

EQ Network ships an update every 5 weeks, FaceMore every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
