# CloseTheBox vs Jackpot

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CloseTheBox at none against Jackpot's 1. CloseTheBox also leads on ads (none vs shown). Jackpot's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jackpot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CloseTheBox asks for nothing beyond the download.

CloseTheBox ships an update every 8 months, Jackpot fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
