# TC vs CSUB Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TC at 73% against CSUB Mobile's 25%. CSUB Mobile's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (19 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CSUB Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CSUB Mobile has 19 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of TC's written reviews are positive against 25% of CSUB Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TC ships an update every 8 months, CSUB Mobile every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
