# QuestChat vs TransPal

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TransPal at 82% against QuestChat's 13%. TransPal also leads on rating (4.4 vs 2.8) and ratings volume (503 vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuestChat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and TransPal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TransPal holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TransPal has 503 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 13% of QuestChat's written reviews are positive against 82% of TransPal's.

QuestChat ships an update monthly, TransPal every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
