# Flashlight vs Soundmoji

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flashlight at none against Soundmoji's 7. Flashlight also leads on ratings volume (99K vs 268) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Soundmoji's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soundmoji sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Flashlight asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flashlight holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashlight has 99K ratings behind it against 268, so its average is the more settled of the two.
