# Snake Quest vs Flappy Fish

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flappy Fish at none against Snake Quest's 10. Flappy Fish also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Snake Quest's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 9.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snake Quest sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Flappy Fish asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flappy Fish holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snake Quest has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Snake Quest ships an update every 9 months, Flappy Fish every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
