# iComics vs Glassy Comics

The clearest difference is price: Glassy Comics at Free against iComics's $0.99. iComics's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 8) and chart position (#5 vs unranked). On rating, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Glassy Comics is free to download; iComics costs $0.99 up front. iComics sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Glassy Comics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for iComics against 4.9 for Glassy Comics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iComics has 3.3K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 80% and 80% positive.

iComics ships an update every 3 weeks, Glassy Comics every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
