# iComics vs Slow Social

The clearest difference is price: Slow Social at Free against iComics's $0.99. Slow Social also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). iComics's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 1). On update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Slow Social is free to download; iComics costs $0.99 up front. iComics sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Slow Social sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slow Social holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iComics has 3.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
