# TimeFreeze vs Ivy Professional Video Editor

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TimeFreeze at none against Ivy Professional Video Editor's 7. TimeFreeze also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). Ivy Professional Video Editor's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 35%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ivy Professional Video Editor sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. TimeFreeze asks for nothing beyond the download.

TimeFreeze holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeFreeze has 6K ratings behind it against 171, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of TimeFreeze's written reviews are positive against 46% of Ivy Professional Video Editor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TimeFreeze ships an update every 2 days, Ivy Professional Video Editor every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
