# Coordinates vs The GPS App

The clearest difference is ads: The GPS App at none against Coordinates's shown. The GPS App also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.6). Coordinates's advantage is ratings volume (6.8K vs 19). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coordinates sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and The GPS App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coordinates holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coordinates has 6.8K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Coordinates's written reviews are positive against 88% of The GPS App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
