# Coordinates vs GPS Convert

Coordinates and GPS Convert both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of GPS Convert's written reviews are positive against 64% of Coordinates's. GPS Convert also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Coordinates's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 19) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coordinates sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. GPS Convert asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Coordinates against 4.5 for GPS Convert. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coordinates has 6.7K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Coordinates's written reviews are positive against 100% of GPS Convert's.

Coordinates ships an update monthly, GPS Convert every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
