# Coordinates vs Land Nav Assistant

The clearest difference is price: Coordinates at Free against Land Nav Assistant's $2.99. Coordinates also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 73) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Land Nav Assistant's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Coordinates is free to download; Land Nav Assistant costs $2.99 up front. Coordinates sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Land Nav Assistant asks for nothing beyond the download.

Coordinates holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coordinates has 6.8K ratings behind it against 73, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Coordinates's written reviews are positive against 85% of Land Nav Assistant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Coordinates ships an update monthly, Land Nav Assistant every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
