# Coordinates vs UTM Geo Map Y2Tech

The clearest difference is rating: Coordinates at 4.6 against UTM Geo Map Y2Tech's 3.8. Coordinates also leads on ratings volume (6.7K vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). UTM Geo Map Y2Tech's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coordinates sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and UTM Geo Map Y2Tech sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coordinates holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coordinates has 6.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Coordinates's written reviews are positive against 100% of UTM Geo Map Y2Tech's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Coordinates ships an update monthly, UTM Geo Map Y2Tech fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
