# Period Log vs Sun Ring

The clearest difference is ads: Sun Ring at none against Period Log's shown. Sun Ring also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Period Log's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
