# Stop Animator vs Stop Motion Movie Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Stop Motion Movie Maker at 5.0 against Stop Animator's 4.4. Stop Motion Movie Maker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Stop Animator's advantage is ratings volume (936 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
