# mRay vs Falcon Mx

The clearest difference is review sentiment: mRay at 100% against Falcon Mx's 50%. mRay also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Falcon Mx's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (282 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Falcon Mx sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. mRay asks for nothing beyond the download.

Falcon Mx holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Falcon Mx has 282 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of mRay's written reviews are positive against 50% of Falcon Mx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mRay ships an update every 2 months, Falcon Mx fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
