# Thermo vs Thermometer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thermo at 77% against Thermometer's 2%. Thermo also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months). Thermometer's advantage is price (Free vs $3.99). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Thermometer is free to download; Thermo costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Thermo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4.
