# Autimo vs ASD Tools for Autism

The clearest difference is rating: Autimo at 5.0 against ASD Tools for Autism's 3.8. Autimo also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). ASD Tools for Autism's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Autimo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and ASD Tools for Autism sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Autimo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASD Tools for Autism has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Autimo's written reviews are positive against 62% of ASD Tools for Autism's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Autimo ships an update every 5 months, ASD Tools for Autism every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
