# e vs TopX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TopX at 100% against e's 0%. e's advantage is price (Free vs $3.99) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

e is free to download; TopX costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

e holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: e has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of e's written reviews are positive against 100% of TopX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

e ships an update every 5 weeks, TopX every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
