# Bus Finder vs ExtraMile®

The clearest difference is update cadence: ExtraMile® at every 6 weeks against Bus Finder's every 12 months. ExtraMile® also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 2) and chart position (#48 vs unranked). Bus Finder's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Bus Finder against 4.9 for ExtraMile®. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ExtraMile® has 3.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bus Finder ships an update every 12 months, ExtraMile® every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
