# Verbal Me vs SnapType Pro

The clearest difference is price: Verbal Me at $8.99 against SnapType Pro's $399.99. Verbal Me also leads on chart position (#150 vs unranked) and review sentiment (76% vs 67%). SnapType Pro's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (499 vs 9). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Verbal Me costs $8.99 and SnapType Pro $399.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SnapType Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnapType Pro has 499 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Verbal Me's written reviews are positive against 67% of SnapType Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
