# Masquerade Dance vs SwingPoints

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Masquerade Dance at none against SwingPoints's 3. Masquerade Dance also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (243 vs 5). SwingPoints's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 44%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwingPoints sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Masquerade Dance asks for nothing beyond the download.

Masquerade Dance holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Masquerade Dance has 243 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Masquerade Dance's written reviews are positive against 63% of SwingPoints's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Masquerade Dance ships an update every 2 months, SwingPoints weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
