# Dive Plan vs Dive Kit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dive Kit at 100% against Dive Plan's 37%. Dive Kit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.8) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). Dive Plan's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dive Plan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Dive Kit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dive Kit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dive Plan has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of Dive Plan's written reviews are positive against 100% of Dive Kit's.

Dive Plan ships an update monthly, Dive Kit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
