# Dive Plan vs Super Dive Log & Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Super Dive Log & Planner at 5.0 against Dive Plan's 1.8. Super Dive Log & Planner also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). Dive Plan's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dive Plan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Super Dive Log & Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
