# Whiteboard vs SMART InkScan

Whiteboard and SMART InkScan both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SMART InkScan's written reviews are positive against 75% of Whiteboard's. SMART InkScan also leads on iOS requirement (10.3 vs 15.0). Whiteboard's advantage is ratings volume (954 vs 5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whiteboard sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SMART InkScan sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Whiteboard against 4.2 for SMART InkScan. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whiteboard has 954 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of Whiteboard's written reviews are positive against 100% of SMART InkScan's.
