# Whiteboard vs Drawing On Map

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Drawing On Map at none against Whiteboard's 7. Drawing On Map also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3). Whiteboard's advantage is ratings volume (953 vs 24) and review sentiment (75% vs 67%). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whiteboard sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Drawing On Map asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drawing On Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whiteboard has 953 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Whiteboard's written reviews are positive against 67% of Drawing On Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
