# Shogi Wars vs Sittuyin ™

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shogi Wars at every 4 weeks against Sittuyin ™'s every 5 months. Shogi Wars also leads on ratings volume (136 vs 6). Sittuyin ™'s advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shogi Wars sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month and Sittuyin ™ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Shogi Wars against 4.8 for Sittuyin ™. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shogi Wars has 136 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Shogi Wars ships an update every 4 weeks, Sittuyin ™ every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
