# Nextech vs Galderma GAIN app

The clearest difference is rating: Galderma GAIN app at 4.7 against Nextech's 2.7. Nextech's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (20% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Galderma GAIN app holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextech has 83 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Nextech's written reviews are positive against 0% of Galderma GAIN app's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nextech ships an update every 5 weeks, Galderma GAIN app every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
