# SkyDemon vs FLYLOG.io

The clearest difference is monetization model: FLYLOG.io at free with in-app purchases against SkyDemon's subscription. FLYLOG.io also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). SkyDemon's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 64%) and ratings volume (549 vs 108). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkyDemon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FLYLOG.io sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for SkyDemon against 4.7 for FLYLOG.io. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkyDemon has 549 ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of SkyDemon's written reviews are positive against 64% of FLYLOG.io's.

SkyDemon ships an update monthly, FLYLOG.io every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
