# TEDConnect vs Twist a Tweet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TEDConnect at none against Twist a Tweet's 6. TEDConnect also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twist a Tweet sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. TEDConnect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Twist a Tweet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TEDConnect has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of TEDConnect's written reviews are positive against 67% of Twist a Tweet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TEDConnect ships an update every 2 weeks, Twist a Tweet every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
