# Hungry Sloth vs Zoo Venture

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hungry Sloth at 83% against Zoo Venture's 0%. Hungry Sloth also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 12.0). Zoo Venture's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hungry Sloth sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Zoo Venture sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zoo Venture holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hungry Sloth has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Hungry Sloth's written reviews are positive against 0% of Zoo Venture's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hungry Sloth ships an update every 3 months, Zoo Venture every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
