# Crazy Bishop vs 3D Chess Game

The clearest difference is update cadence: 3D Chess Game at every 3 weeks against Crazy Bishop's every 6 months. 3D Chess Game also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 14). Crazy Bishop's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 76%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

3D Chess Game holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3D Chess Game has 3.5K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Crazy Bishop's written reviews are positive against 76% of 3D Chess Game's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
