# Egress Secure Mail vs Damstra Forms

The clearest difference is rating: Egress Secure Mail at 4.3 against Damstra Forms's 3.0. Egress Secure Mail also leads on ratings volume (288 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 16.4). Damstra Forms's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (20% vs 8%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Egress Secure Mail sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $139.99 per year. Damstra Forms asks for nothing beyond the download.

Egress Secure Mail holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Egress Secure Mail has 288 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Egress Secure Mail's written reviews are positive against 20% of Damstra Forms's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
