# Cloud Spy vs Tamera

Cloud Spy and Tamera both sit at 3.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Tamera's written reviews are positive against 25% of Cloud Spy's. Cloud Spy's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloud Spy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Tamera sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cloud Spy holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Cloud Spy's written reviews are positive against 75% of Tamera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cloud Spy ships an update every 3 months, Tamera every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
