# Cloud Spy vs VidKeep

The clearest difference is rating: VidKeep at 5.0 against Cloud Spy's 3.7. VidKeep also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). Cloud Spy's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cloud Spy sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and VidKeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VidKeep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloud Spy has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cloud Spy ships an update every 3 months, VidKeep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
