# RoomSync vs The Movement

The clearest difference is rating: RoomSync at 4.7 against The Movement's 3.3. RoomSync also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 44). The Movement's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 18%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RoomSync holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoomSync has 5.1K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of RoomSync's written reviews are positive against 40% of The Movement's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoomSync ships an update weekly, The Movement every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
