# RoomSync vs Eat Together!

The clearest difference is rating: RoomSync at 4.7 against Eat Together!'s 4.1. RoomSync also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 9) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Eat Together!'s advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 18%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RoomSync holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoomSync has 4.4K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of RoomSync's written reviews are positive against 50% of Eat Together!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoomSync ships an update weekly, Eat Together! every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
