# RoomSync vs Snagtag

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Snagtag at 75% against RoomSync's 18%. RoomSync's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (5.1K vs 11). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RoomSync holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoomSync has 5.1K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of RoomSync's written reviews are positive against 75% of Snagtag's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoomSync ships an update weekly, Snagtag every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
