# TriPeaks vs Microsoft Solitaire Collection

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TriPeaks at 78% against Microsoft Solitaire Collection's 36%. TriPeaks also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Microsoft Solitaire Collection's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 68 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TriPeaks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Microsoft Solitaire Collection sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Solitaire Collection has 257K ratings behind it against 263, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of TriPeaks's written reviews are positive against 36% of Microsoft Solitaire Collection's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TriPeaks ships an update every 68 months, Microsoft Solitaire Collection every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
