# MyMeter vs TA Hours

The clearest difference is rating: TA Hours at 3.5 against MyMeter's 2.4. MyMeter's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 41 months) and ratings volume (45 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TA Hours holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyMeter has 45 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of MyMeter's written reviews are positive against 0% of TA Hours's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyMeter ships an update every 5 weeks, TA Hours every 41 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
