# Autodesk Forma vs BenchMarx

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BenchMarx at none against Autodesk Forma's 5. BenchMarx also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Autodesk Forma's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (22K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Autodesk Forma sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. BenchMarx asks for nothing beyond the download.
