# Autodesk Forma vs Salutem

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Salutem at 100% against Autodesk Forma's 41%. Salutem also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Autodesk Forma's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (22K vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Autodesk Forma sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Salutem sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Salutem holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Autodesk Forma has 22K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Autodesk Forma's written reviews are positive against 100% of Salutem's.

Autodesk Forma ships an update every 9 days, Salutem fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
