# Autodesk Forma vs EcoSys

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EcoSys at 100% against Autodesk Forma's 41%. EcoSys also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Autodesk Forma's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (22K vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Autodesk Forma sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. EcoSys asks for nothing beyond the download.

EcoSys holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Autodesk Forma has 22K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
