# UHSAA Live! vs Megaplex Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Megaplex Mobile at 4.7 against UHSAA Live!'s 3.4. Megaplex Mobile also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (12K vs 10). UHSAA Live!'s advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 19%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Megaplex Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Megaplex Mobile has 12K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of UHSAA Live!'s written reviews are positive against 19% of Megaplex Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UHSAA Live! ships an update every 3 months, Megaplex Mobile every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
