# Magic Fingers Reimagined vs Phonemo

The clearest difference is rating: Phonemo at 5.0 against Magic Fingers Reimagined's 4.2. Phonemo also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (5.1 vs 15.0). Magic Fingers Reimagined's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 33%) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Fingers Reimagined sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Phonemo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Phonemo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Fingers Reimagined has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Magic Fingers Reimagined's written reviews are positive against 33% of Phonemo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic Fingers Reimagined ships an update every 2 months, Phonemo every 9 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
